Sailing Yacht Galaxie 48ft

On our comfortable 48ft green sailboat we provide all the comfort you need. For your convenience we have a bathroom on board provide bath towels, snorkel masks and sunscreen. 


The yacht has a covered and shaded cockpit with 6 seats and 2 extra seats behind the captain. Inside we have homely cabins, a guest bathroom, Hilde's kitchen, lounge area and a captain's corner. 


What about safety on board?


The Galaxie is officially inspected and has a board radio, fire extinguishers, first aid kit, life vests, life raft, fire alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and a gas alarm. 


Norbert is our Captain and has all Boatmaster diplomas (I-II and III) as required by the Maritime Authority Curacao.


Favourite spot Fuik Bay


Our favourite spot to visit is Fuik Bay. It's a beautiful sheltered bay with small beaches and mangroves. To get here, we sail from the Marina through the Spanish Water and the Caribbean Sea. It's located on the South coast, about 11 km Southeast of Willemstad. 


Due to the draft of our sailing yacht, we anchor slightly off the coast, at swimming distance from the beaches in the bay. Usually a lot of sea turtles swim around, especially when the bay is quiet. 


Seru Boca Marina - Santa Barbara Plantation

Our comfortable yacht is located at the pier of the Seru Boca Marina. This exclusive private harbour in the Santa Barbara Plantation area is surrounded by the most wonderful 18 holes golf course of the Caribbean: The Old Quarry Golf Course. From our harbour you have amazing views over the golf course, the Spanish Waters and the authentic Table Mountain. The first hole of the course is located next to the new Sandals Resort.


All our sailing tours start from this harbour. From the pier you have easy access to the yacht and as our guest you'll benefit from all the harbour facilities for free, such as parking and showers.
